Each Cross Country instructor has between 2 to 26 years of experience in the trucking industry.  This real world trucking experience translates to a more meaningful training experience for you.  Our instructors have earned many awards for their accomplishments in the trucking industry, such as Million Mile Awards, Hazardous Materials Certifications, Tanker School Qualifications, and Safety Awards. 

Three of our instructors are licensed 3rd Party Examiners, meaning that they are licensed by the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles to administer the final road test.

Owner, Jerry Wayne Walls has been in the trucking industry for more than 26 years, where he has worked for trucking companies in various positions, has been an owner/operator and has driven many different types of equipment.

Cross Country Truck Driving School takes the utmost care in hiring instructors, ensuring that you get the highest quality education possible.  Our goal is to give you the best possible training to get ahead in the trucking industry, with SAFETY being a primary concern.
